Dear Partner,

Eph 1:3   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

In the early days of launching out into full time ministry (when money was staying away in great abundance), I used to read this verse and grumble a little bit with an attitude of, "Well that's great but it sure would be nice if you would bless us with some material blessings too." I had no idea until just recently that this single verse in the bible is sufficient to change the world. Literally… this verse is a major key to revival. Not just a revival within the Christian community but also to cause Muslims, Hindus, Atheists and all sinners to repent and turn to Christ to be saved.

This verse is in truth speaking of the full inheritance available to believers as sons of the living God. There is a kingdom realm where God, our Father, dwells. It is a higher realm with different laws of physics than those we see in the material realm on earth. The kingdom laws of physics supersede the material realm laws of physics. Jesus had full access to all of the resources (spiritual blessings) of the kingdom of God by way of the Holy Ghost to alter the material realm to conform to the will of the Father. Blind eyes would see, deaf ears would hear, lepers would be cleansed, and the dead were raised. Not only did Jesus access those "spiritual blessings" when healing people, but whenever expedient such as … walking on water, turning water into wine, multiplying five loaves and two fishes to feed thousands of people, a fish bringing necessary tax money, and so forth. Jesus said,

John 16:14-15   He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

"All things that the Father hath" equals "All spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." Everything the Father hath belongs to Christ by inheritance. We who are born again are in Christ and that full inheritance belongs to us also. OUR FATHER HAS GIVEN US ALL THAT HE HAS! We have access to all of the resources of the higher realm of heaven in order to manifest the Father' will on earth. God our Father has held back nothing. In the parable of the prodigal son, the father told the elder son,

Luk 15:29-31   And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: 30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. 31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and ALL THAT I HAVE IS THINE.

The elder son did not know his father very well at all. He had always had full access to all that the Father had by inheritance. But his meager fellowship with his father had kept him ignorant of what was available to him. It is exactly the same with the church today. We are joint heirs with Christ yet we beg like paupers. All power in heaven and in earth have been given to us through His name, yet we muddle through life just trying to survive the onslaught of the enemy. Religion has done a good job of convincing us we are still just old sinners saved by grace. No more!

Our Father intends for us to put the kingdom of God "on display" before the whole world. Signs and wonders do not save people but as one preacher put it … they are the "dinner bell" that draws the crowds so they will hear the gospel of Christ and believe.

Mat 10:7-8   And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Mar 16:15-18   And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

God HATH … past tense … blessed us with all spiritual blessings. He did it the day we were born again. We became inheritors at that very moment. All that the Father has is available to us. He has given us the same Holy Spirit that He anointed Jesus with. We have the very life of Christ on the inside of us. It is through the Holy Spirit that we have access to everything in the realm of the kingdom of God. God gives us the Holy Spirit in order to manifest the "bread" of answered prayer for those we minister to. [Luke 11:1-13] There is nothing to stop us from manifesting the kingdom of God on earth. We need to "ring the dinner bell" with signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus so people can come and be saved. Nothing is stopping us … except our flesh. That's why Jesus emphasized these two statements if we want to be His disciples, walking in full inheritance.

Luke 9:23   And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

  1. Deny ourselves (never agree with the old man we were prior to being born again)
  2. Take up our cross daily (keep the flesh mortified)

Heavenly resources are for the sons of God as they establish the kingdom of God on earth. Heavenly resources are not for natural men to use for the purposes of building their own kingdom on earth to satisfy the flesh. Denying ourselves and keeping the flesh mortified are how we avoid the trap of corrupting the use of "all spiritual blessings." We are sons of God with full inheritance available to us!

Sue and I love you and appreciate you.   We thank God for your generous and giving heart.   God bless you!

Your friend and co-laborer,
